How do I show an item's condition before shipping it?

A seller-friendly checklist for recording an item, serial details, accessories, packaging and sealed parcel before shipping.

Photograph the item clearly before packing it, including identifying details and any existing marks. Then photograph accessories, protective packaging and the closed parcel with its shipping label.

What to keep

  1. Overall item from several angles.
  2. Close views of important surfaces and existing marks.
  3. Serial, model or unique identifying details.
  4. Accessories and included parts.
  5. Protective packing before the box is closed.
  6. Closed parcel and shipping label.
